As per Deadline’s Peter White, Stephen Curry’s production company Unanimous Media has joined forces with Audible to create a pair of podcasts. The first podcast, titled
The Greatest Sports Story Never Told
, takes a documentary-style approach to uncovering untold moments and stories in sports, delving into the behind-the-scenes lives of athletes beyond what is commonly known.
“In some instances, you find yourself wondering what really went down in the dugout during the 1988 World Series, or what happened with Kirk Gibson after his famous home run,” explained Unanimous Media co-founder and chief creative officer Erick Peyton in an interview with Deadline. “It’s those little moments in between the big moments that truly intrigue us.”
The second podcast, which may already be familiar to fans of Stephen Curry, is
Fifteen Minutes from Home
, an extended audio adaptation of Curry’s popular YouTube series,
5 Minutes From Home
. In the show, the NBA star shares candid conversations with athletes, entertainers, politicians, or fans while commuting home from a game.

Previous guests on the YouTube show have ranged from Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid and Olympic swimmer Katie Ledecky to actor Daveed Diggs from Hamilton and rapper E-40. Peyton hinted that the upcoming audio version will have a different feel, potentially showcasing more of Curry’s personality along with the diverse guests he plans to bring on the show.

Fans of Curry who follow him on Twitter and YouTube might be familiar with his “State of Inspiration” interview series, where he has spoken with experts like Dr. Anthony Fauci, political figure Stacey Abrams, and philanthropist Bill Gates. These types of insightful conversations could also make their way into the Fifteen Minutes From Home podcast unless the signature “in-the-car” setting proves integral to the dynamic interactions.
